Activity programme with Olympians

After a break in 2020 due to COVID, the annual recognition trip for our customer took place once again in 2021. Since the winners of the previous year also needed to be celebrated, this year saw two recognition ceremonies in one. Along with all the COVID restrictions, this meant a huge organisational challenge for the planning team – but all went perfectly!

In early October, guests travelled from all across Germany to the exclusive Meliá Villaitana resort in Alicante on the Costa Blanca. The ‘bubble’ strategy ensured that both chartered flights and hotels were available exclusively for the participants. There was no contact with anyone outside of the bubble. Thanks to daily testing and outdoor events, the process was extremely safe.

With a choice of activities such as paddle and trampoline tennis, various other ball sports, climbing, biking and diving on the rocky coast as well as bubble soccer, aqua spinning, golf and yoga, participants were able to spend the day with renowned individuals within these sports or simply relax on a catamaran.

The two recognition evenings took place in the heart of the resort’s incredible pool complex and was rounded off with a ‘Spanish street festival’, spectacular laser show and beach bar with DJ.
