Recognition trip to the city of paella
To prepare for this city characterised by its architecture, the participants first visited the ‘City of Arts and Sciences’, created by famous architect Santiago Calatrava as part of a panoramic trip.
Various activities could be chosen during the day as small groups headed off to their respective activities: A cycling tour along the drained river bed in the Turia Gardens, a walk through the historical old town, a beach walk with relaxing boat trip through the ‘L‘Albufera’ nature reserve with lunch in an old fisherman’s house or fast-paced sailing trip on a catamaran.
The modern ‘Veles e Vents“’ (= Sails and Winds) was the main event location for the trip, an award ceremony followed by dinner and entertainment. Built as a press and media headquarters for the America’s Cup in 2007 by Brit David Chipperfield, the various rooms provided the optimum setting for an atmospheric closing evening.
